Meet My Boys

Considering the fact that most of what you'll read here will be brought to you through the antics of these two....it's time to meet my boy.


BB turned 11 in July and is now in the 6th grade. It seems like just yesterday that he came into this world kicking and screaming.....Well he's still kicking and screaming but his heart is pure gold.

LB turned 2 in June. Go ahead...you can say it...."WOW!! that's a large age span." Yes...almost 9 years. We're just starting into the "terrible two's" and LB is definitely keeping me on my toes. His favorite phrase at the moment happens to be "Why not?", and as much as I hate to admit - mine has become "because I said".

BB is the ultimate "big brother". He's very protective of LB - often time a little overly protective......after all how do you explain the need for discipline to an 11 year old?

LB thinks his big brother is just "IT". Anything that BB does....well LB thinks he can do it to or at least wants to try to do it....which can be exasperating when this mommy had to chase him down on the football field during tryouts. I never could get him to understand that he's just to little to play with the big boys.


Well these are my boys.........the joy of my life........the reason I get out of bed every morning........although at times I'd like nothing better than to turn the alarm off, pull the covers back over my head and grab a few more minutes of sleep.

And speaking of sleep......................my little gremlin is no longer napping so off I go.............
